The most important events in Brasov are organized in Piata Sfatului, the main meeting place of the citizens from Brasov. The Black Church was built in a gothic style by the saxons living in Ardeal, and dates back to the XIV-XV century. The church keeps even the largest organ in Europe. Here you can listen to classical and pre-classical music, but also a wonderful Christmas concert. The Schei Gate was built in 1827 in a classical style, to facilitate the access to Brasov Fortress. Tampa is 865 m high. A winding path leads to the top of the mountain, where you can admire a wonderful view of the city. The Dracula Castle draws many curious people through the legend turned to myth in the XIX and XX century. Placed between Bucegi Mountains and Piatra Craiului, 30 km from Brasov, the castle is an important Romanian sight because of its beauty, its landscape, but also because of the legend of Count Dracula. It is said that his spirit still haunts those places… The Rasnov rustic fort, built during the XIII century on a rocky hill, defended for many centuries the habitants of the Barsa region. Prejmer fort, built in a circle shape with very thick walls, shelters one of the oldest churches in Transilvania
